christmas party was a blast :D thanks everyone for making the night so memorable.

The day started off pretty early for me, woke up at 9am to make the lasagna! hahaha! omgg, now I know what dewi has to go through whenever she prepares for large-scale bbq sessions at my house. Diced seemingly endless sticks of carrots and celery for the sauce and later the shitake mushrooms! (since dear meera's a vegetarian, I just decided to forgo the meat entirely. Hope it didn't taste too plain) Prepared the base tomato sauce thingum and went on to try a new recipe which I found on that back of the lasagna-slice box! CHEESE SAUCE. Sounded sinful, but I carried on anyway. butter, flour, milk, nutmeg, pepper/salt, cheese and more cheese. yummmm :D

people started coming in at around 1pm? First to arrive: MEERA! hahaha! Brought all the chaota and obese gingerbread men we baked on wednesday and those that she made herself. The meera-made ones were really impressive! They actually looked human-like. hahaha!

More girls arrived soon after with MORE FOOD.
Guys arrived (good job nathantan, guess it was quite safe entrusting you with the responsibility to make sure the guys didn't get lost :D) with the DVDs.

we watched... Love Actually (for the 1734372589732947923 time), Taxi4 (which I couldn't understand what was going on) and finally, Mean Girls.

Ate and ate and ate. Great food! thanks bimb and deb for the spaghetti and yummy sauce, priya for the pizza, toot for the fishballs, siti for the sausages, kennedy's maid for the beehoon ;) and kenneth for the egg sandwiches! (my maid said that the egg+ mayo got standard, nice one) ohyes, not to forget chinks and marc see for the brownies and jiaqi for the icecream on top! errr, there are still 2 tubs in my freezer btw, thanks for the donation. CHERYL! sry for "forgetting" about your mango pudding! I tried it! and it's REALLY REALLY GOOD. Give me your secret recipe! :D

Had gift exchange! wheee! I love the poem, although it was kinda long and confusing at some portions. hahahaha! LEFT! RIGHT! LEFT LEFT! ;) hope you all had fun! gave hongcheng my gift for exchange! I hope he uses the file! it's really really cute! the gift I got eventually was from KENNEDY! thanks man! :D It's freaking useful cos' now I've got a proper place to hang my earrings! hhahaha! poor victor and aaron got...... orientation 2008 shoebags. hahaha! and chinks got a rubik cube. HAHHAA

P.S: My mummy's really impressed with the canoeing guys who came (with the exception of "the one in pink" -> nathantan, nah just kidding) because of how gentlemanly they were in offering to clean up the place etc.... NICE ONE GUYS ;) I'll tell eugene to be more lenient on you all ;)
